Let me address something regrettable that happened tonight during our tailgate show. First, this was the first show that weve done on the same day as an actual game, let alone ending moments before kickoff. In the years weve been tailgating, weve never had to factor in the playing of the National Anthem. We were in a segment and they signaled me to interview the university person next to me as the music started. The moment after I started, I wished I hadnt. It was an element in the surroundings that wed never had to plan. Well be in the same time situation in a few weeks with another Thursday night game. Well have a different plan then and we wont do it again. My apologies.
