Let me be clear, I am not a fearmonger, but I do believe in being informed & I use my own intelligence to ascertain whether a news story is credible or not. #Ebola is in Dallas, TX. America. I live in Houston. A great deal of travel occurs daily between Dallas & Houston. Today I sent my daughter to school with 10 small bottles of Purell & instructed her to pass them out & to inform her friends, everyone who would listen. Follow simple precautions. Wash your hands often. Do not bring your hands up to your face. Wash or use Purell before eating your lunch at school. Use Purell when getting on the bus. Wash your hands in hot soapy water when you get home. They say this is now contained to Patient Zero, BUT breaking news now is that a close associate is also being monitored for Ebola, and their family & close friends. Well, what about the family & close friends of the close friends? And on and on and on??? This person was on a plane, the most restrictive flow of air a human is ever exposed to, and they had the pathogen in their system from Liberia when they boarded that plane. Who is to say they didnt cough, sneeze, or use the restroom while on the plane? It was a flight from Africa so Id bet good money they used the restroom at least once. I dont believe the media or the CDC who say this is contained and that there is nothing to worry about. (Youve seen nothing here. Move along. Move along.) These are the same people who INSISTED that Ebola would NEVER EVER come to America. Well, it is now Americas newest emigrant. Do what you can to protect yourself & your families. Wash your hands more often.
