Let me be controversial. I have not seen the benefits of sending kids to Private\Model C Schools at a very high cost as yet. I have observed that they end up with the same kids from Mehlokazulu High, Mgaga High, Olwandle High etc at the same DUT, UJ and UKZN. Do they have an added advantage except for differently-pronounced English at tertiary level? Do they perform better than the Black Schools graduates? In my professional and social circles, I have observed that the people in influential positions are the Black Schools graduates. I have also come across a few White Schools Graduates at Pay Points ko Edgars and HUB and even serving burgers ko Wimpy and KFC. Then I think to myself, if the huge monthly school bills, for over 12yrs, were actually worth it. Before you label me as jealous, I went to a Multi-Racial School myself. Lets share views!!
