Let me clear something up for my melanin challenged friends, as well as others..... My post about the Target ad WAS NOT an attempt to accuse TARGET of being racist. My intent was to shed light on how they may be conforming to Americas racist attitudes with their ad choices. Annie is Black but they felt the need to do an ad campaign with all white girls and a biracial girl sprinkled in between to make the Annie merchandise marketable to ALL girls, which would be perfectly fine if they were putting little Black girls in Frozen advertisements or Beauty and The Beast advertisements or Matilda advertisements to make THAT merchandise more marketable to ALL girls. But they wouldnt dare! Still dont get it? Kindly refer to #2 and #3 on my status from a few days ago and sit down.
