Let me elaborate why this is a common mans problem. Today 1/3 of doctors are inefficient due to direct, indirect and forced corruption. To be a good doctor it needs to know the pain and compassion. how can you expect the foul players to be compassionate and efficient. A common mans silence or opposition to this movement is just meaningless. It is equal to accepting yourself, parents, relative to be treated by quacks who also charge you disproportionately. An efficient doctor eats, sleeps, drinks, medicine to understand the intricacies of medicine and save the lives and enjoy that ultimate satisfaction that no other job gives to a human being. Can u expect this from a cheater? The ultimate day when a common fears to go to a doctor for an illness is fast approaching, People would rather die in their houses than to approach a doctor. This does not require all doctors to be inefficient. A few can tarnish the reputation of whole medical community. Ofcourse people got no clue how to identify the fraudulent ones in due course of time. I reiterate this is not a loss of pg medical aspirants, its much beyond that, a peril to the health institution. and its not about the percentage of corruption today. see the rate of its growth. exponential!! (I agree its always there but its now completely skewing to the other side and the true doctors would vanish) when you people have all the right to question/condemn the absence of doctor on a strike for their own reasons of inadequate stipend, inadequate facilities in hospitals, meaningless rural service without improving rural setups, without getting your facts right, why should you keep silence as if this is an academic gambling of some students and you no way related to you.
