Let me explain something to everyone because Im on the verge of a mental breakdown: Im a single Mom of two boys, one of which has Autism. My car is broken and is going to cost $3000 to get fixed and hardly make it paycheck to paycheck. According to court order, my ex has to interview babysitters in order for me to use them. I also dont trust anyone with my son because he doesnt talk. On my off time, I work. If I go to a social event, its because someone told me at least a month in advance and I blocked the time off my schedule. If I truly have OFF time, I typically hike, but its not always for fun. Sometimes its to get a break from everything and sometimes its bc I cant afford to eat and it keeps my mind off of food (I dont want to hear it, Im aware of how bad this sounds.) Im currently dealing with some health issues bc of the status of my apt. I would LOVE nothing more than to be able to date or just kick it with my friends from time to time. Reality is, we all have to make sacrifices and right now and for a small period of my life, my social life will have to be put on the back burner until my car, apt and time situation get better. Im not making bullshit excuses. Trust me, I cry myself to sleep sometimes after going on FB seeing all the happy couples and their families together thinking I may never get that. Im doing the best I can do with the little Ive got and Im not sharing this as a pity status but more so because I feel like no one understands and I cant do anything right in anyones eyes right now. People have a lot of suggestions but no logical reasoning behind it. Making more money isnt that easy. Getting a sitter and spending the little time I have with my kids, is not really an option right now. Im giving it my ALL right now so PLEASE bare with me. You dont see what goes on begind the scenes and Im good at hiding stuff but Im trying to be transparent here.
