Let me get or at least try to understand something. There are way to many missing children, those who leave for school and never make it to or from, the school system is getting way too stringent with assessments and testing that it is loosing the concept of real life learning/teaching a child what it needs in order to thrive with nature, children are being mistreated by others, yet we continue to send our children to school, to live and deal with those situations. Now, I know not everyone can be a stay at home mom, but those who can choose not to, which makes me kind of wonder why, but with that aside... why dont parents get together and start a revolution. Dont send the children to school until things change. Until someone takes mistreatment/bullying seriously, and until the government decides to put the children, who hold our future first, instead of brain washing them to become just another form of a herd. The human herd. The one that goes to school and learns only what the state has put there for them to Learn because it is for their benefits, and not of the child. When are we going to become our childrens advocates? Stand up for them, and fight for their rights? When the child suicidal rate goes higher? They are under way too much stress, that is being given by the state. When was the last time you sat with your child and asked them what they thought and how they felt they are treated at school, or how they feel when tested or assessed? Have you even taken the time to do that? Why not? What is their answer? And are you looking for the honest answer or the one you want to hear? We are their parents, and therefore they have NO ONE in this world to stand up for them. They believe in us as parents. Isnt it time, we show them how much we truly care? It is just so sad what we have become... I have met so many people that tell me I am crazy for homeschooling. How can you stay sane they say. Or I couldnt wait for them to go back to school!!!... really? You dislike you childs presence that much, that you cannot wait for them to be away from you? The seeds you plant today are those you will harvest in the future. Make the right choices for your childs well being. Fight for their peace, and serenity! !!!
