Let me just say this! I only post to the public when it is necessary. I posted the last time it happened what a wonderful job the sheriffs department did and how quickly they got to my babies. The last time we were at walmart when my Yukon locked its self between me closing my door and making it to my babies door to get them out with the keys in the ignition. A deputy arrived within 3 minutes and was wonderful. Today we have been out of town all day, finally get home and the same thing happens. Yes we have GOT to get to the Chevrolet place to get another key, we havent done it yet but it hasnt happened since so I started thinking maybe we just made an honest mistake that day. Not so. So we call 911 asap and have a hammer standing by. Car is under the garage and the sun is not out anymore so we stand guard and wait for them to arrive which he finally does driving 30 with no lights on. (He did arrive in about ten minutes to Baymeadows.not terrible timing but still this is important.he MUST have been in the area) he gets here and doesnt even acknowledge us and has this look on his face..which to begin with I get bc with all of these people FORGETTING their children in the car theres no idea what hes thinking but we explain to him what happened and he is still RUDE as hell and made us feel like we did it on purpose and makes a comment about my window tint which is LEGAL (the car was under the garage so it looked dark).gets the door open and makes an comment about how it could have been critical. Hello we know this which is why we called 911 and would have gladly busted my window out had it been any longer that he arrived or if my child had been in any distress. I know now that my car will probably do this again so you bet your butt ill get another key but feel as though we committed a crime thanks to this man. People have sympathy for these people who forget their children in their vehicle an entire work day which results in death and we walk from the front of our vehicle to the back to get our baby out right behind us and get treated this way. I am MAD. They are supposed to be their to help, not insult.
