Let me just take a moment of your time and tell you about the handful that has been going on. My husband Ross got a hernia while at work and needed immediate surgery. Because this was another hernia, they had to put mesh in to repair him. The chances of infection are greater, and the risks are larger, but he needed repairing. Within 2 days of the surgery, redness occurred and infection was trying to set in. Ross was sent home with a sewn in PICC line, (iv that runs up his arm to his heart) and a home nurse to come 2 times a day. Things were looking up when the redness was going away, but then the PICC line or something, a knot was painful and was bothering his arm. PICC line is just a daily reminder that you are not well. (depressing) Dr. appt today. We have already been told that he would probably add another 3 days to the IV antibiotic, but through diligent prayers and pleading with God, Ross is on his way to have the PICC line removed and get oral antibiotics. My God is Awesome!!! Let the healing begin. Mentally, and physically!
