Let me reflect, for a moment, on what I did as a fan of basketball - TopicsExpress

Let me reflect, for a moment, on what I did as a fan of basketball last night. 1. I took a picture of my dog under a blanket and said she was nervous about the game. She wasnt. She is a dog. She didnt and doesnt care about the game, but she was nervous about me yelling. 2. I posted that Russ Smith worshipped the devil and Luke Hancock may actually be Beelzebub. Do I believe either of those statements? No. Did they play great? Yes. Does Russ Smith think the devil actually prevented his free throws from going in? No idea. Shockingly, Russ and I arent close. 3. I said the outcome would not deter furniture from being set aflame. Unfortunately, a minority of UK fans set things on fire and act like idiots when we win or lose. Such is the nature of the beast. Could it be better? Yes. Also, I, in fact, burned nothing. Not even a candle. 4. I said I wish UK / UL played all the time. I dont. It would be fun for a few games and boring for the majority of time 5. I yelled the words colitis and Fallujah. I dont know why. They seemed more appropriate than alternatives. I like basketball. I am not sure there is a more artistic, major amateur or professional sport that the unexpected can happen to the individual or team. I loved and do love to play. I am not a great UK fan, but I do enjoy watching them play more than any other. I complain about and congratulate them on nearly everything they do. Louisville played well enough to win last night. Big brother vs. Little Brother. Ridiculous. Two awesome teams in this small state. Absolutely. I do like UK more than UL. I wont burn or hurt anyone as a result.
