Let me share with you what I read in a small pamphlet by W.F. KUMUYI of Deeper Life Bible Church. The Book is titled: THE HOUR OF DECISION. This is what one of the sub-topic: MEANING BUSINESS WITH GOD says, “If you have been praying for salvation for days or months or even years without getting saved, it is because you are not serious. You do not yet mean business with God. You do not know the consequences of dying without Christ and spending eternity in HELL. Indeed, it is because you are an hypocrite, you are not ready to forsake what you are confessing. You may be one of the people who raise up their hands during every call to salvation – in the Bible Study, or in the Sunday Worship, or at the Revival Service, and even in Retreats indicating a desire to get saved. The truth of the matter is that you are yet unserious and hypocritical. You do not mean at heart what you profess outwardly. Your heart is not yielded. You never determined to make a clean break with the sins you confess. You never confess with a decision to also forsake sins. That is why you have been praying for endless months or years without getting saved”.
