Let me start by saying, I have tried to bite my tongue for several days now. Not going to get in a debate but all those of you that are listening to IAM and their promises I have a few questions for you to think about... 1. When you get that so called promise of a contract and IAM has made friends with Delta management do you think motives for IAM will change? 2. When Delta starts breaking contractual agreement and IAM only tries to have company comply for 5% of your flight attendant group who will be watching out for the other 95%? 3. When management wont speak to you about your concerns and they repeat...file a grievance and IAM wont do anything other than laugh because they dont have to...no accountability. (RLA) protects them...how then will you get your voices heard. 4. When they take you hard earned money in the forms of dues which you can not elect out of but a few dollars, will it make you happy to donate because you wont be paying for a service. 5. Are you willing to sell your morals, values and ethics to become one of the chosen favorites so you can get things done? IAM has not integrity. 6. Do you have money for an attorney (10,000.00) to file a case when you reach the breaking point of having, no voice, grievances gone unanswered, wrongful termination, and the list is never ending. I dont know a lot about different unions but I can share with you this. I have an attorney who has a database and is totally shocked at the amount of cases against IAM. He is working on putting together my case which is a solid case...facts only...documentation from company they have and are still violating our contract in 2 places. This grievance was not even handled correctly or notes turned over to me as I am allowed. Was suppose to be in arbitration but its not. This grievance was filed in March 2013. Number 2...I also lost a base transfer to a junior person based on unions friendship with person who did transfers in company and union did not want me in Dulles working against union. Still have the letter that had some bogus excuse why I could not be transferred...SENIORITY right...not with IAM, its all about if you keep your mouth shut or ONLY praise them. You will be treated great if you watch your company and work rights go down the tube so the union can promote keeping unions around by creating drama for company and workers. Delta has always been my dream family because Delta management treats their employees with fairness and a means to be successful....choose IAM union and you will lose all that it will become an atmosphere of distrust between company and co workers. This is the only post I will be posting, I promised my attorney I would lay low till he files the case. Folks, really weigh your options...I advise a group within your group to come together, meet with an attorney and have him show you all the cases in litigation, also ask him about your not having to pay dues and be a member...believe me you do...opting out of 10.00 is nothing when you want out completely. Research especially if you think there are only a few of us with issues. I wish you all the best in making your decision, but dont base it on IAMs propaganda or even our comments...RESEARCH!
