Let me start by saying I love this country and the 2nd Amendment. Well I was away this week dealing with the services for my grandmother, the family went out to dinner and of course I was carrying. Well sitting there with my firearm it was in the open and we had a child and his parents sitting next to us. I heard the child ask his dad why does that man have a gun. I politely leaned over and asked the parents if I could explain it to him. So I explained that my Dad and grandparents fought wars to give me the Liberty to do so and I also carry it to protect my family and loved ones from hateful people and that includes you, The boy looked at me and said but you don’t know me, I said you will understand it someday and the parents thanked me. After dinner I had the manager and Waitress stop me and also Thank me for fighting for our Liberty’s since they saw my GRAA Hat and Shirt. Encounters like this make me remember even in the darkest times we are making a difference, Even if it is small steps at a time. I am glad and honored to be part of the GRAA Family and I would not want to do this fight without all of you by my side.
