Let me start by saying the last attempt by my beloved Muppets was more than a little disappointing. That one had the Muppets playing second fiddle to a run of the mill love story that had little to do with the Muppets! Having said that, this outing was quite refreshing and MUCH closer to the movies put out when Jim Henson was alive and in charge. In other words, the Muppets were the lead with the human actors playing supporting roles. Much, much better! In addition, the previous movie started with a BIG song and dance number with not a single Muppet to be seen where this one had musical numbers that actually felt like they belonged! Bottom line time! - I enjoyed this flick and I think most fans of the old Muppet Show and early movies will too!
