Let me start with, I did not reach my goal , frankly , not even close! I felt good this am, and it was going great! I ran a 2:12 Half Marathon and 16 fabulous miles! And then.....it got hard, really hard. I kept moving however slow, hobbling, cramped up, a bit demoralized. Though most moments were spent laughing at the sweetest man who spent every moment cheering me on, with a smile on his face. Mark, thank you for slugging it out, slowly, for no reason other than to support me. When I got to the last 1/2 mile, my kids had come back to wait for me as well as many friends to run me in. My parents were at the Finish and I just felt like a superstar! And now.....onward to the next Marathon. :-)
