Let me tell you how God moves. I was just talking to my Mom last night about my fundraising efforts and how Ive reached my goal but was hoping to surpass it. She said Jovonna you may not be able to raise more but just know you did your best. I prayed on it and went to bed. When I arrived at church this morning my Pastor was up in front of the congregation and as he was speaking he called me up and the church presented me with a check for $500 as he was speaking the officers and congregation agreed to give me another $500. Im still tearing up as I type this but I have to tell yall why this is so significant I attend a church that is small maybe 30 members. My pastor just planted this church a few months ago and I see the work he & his wife do while building Gods kingdom and Im am so grateful to be apart of this ministry. So to Pastor Ron Thomas, First Lady Shontell Ellis-Thomas and all the members of Road to Damascus Im am truly humbled and thankful for all you do! To date I have raised $1,638 and I have to thank the rest of you FB friends & fam for that. God bless you all! #stbaldricks #shavee come this Saturday, July 12th.
