Let the dreams come true. DONATION PROGRAM ON CONSTRUCTING THE CHIDREN CEMETERY – NAM BAN – LAM HA – LAM DONG PROVINCE – VIETNAM (RIP): Nam Ban Town, founded on September 19 in 1981, was the centre of Hanoi New Economic Zone in Lam Dong Province, Vietnam. It’s about 25 kilometers far from Dalat city. There have been 11.685 inhabitants within 2.680 households since December 31st in 2010. Annually, the authorities in Nam Ban Town, Lam Ha, Lam Dong, Vietnam has advocacy programs on family planning as well as contraceptive methods for adolescents. However, there are 5-10 infants abandoned weekly by their parents for various reasons. The infants are collected and preserved at Uncle Hai – Ba Dinh 2 People Hamlet (Up Voi Fall) by groups of Uncles and Aunts (10 people) in Nam Ban. And at the end of the week the group members take turns to bring the infants to the resting place at Dong Nhi Minh Giao Cemetery (111 Ngo Thi Nham - Ward 4 - Da Lat) because there is still no cemetery for them in Nam Ban. The group has been working together for 03 years, helping 700 infants rest in peace. According to the trip survey from UOC MO XANH (group of Charity Members and Life Protection in Nam Ban), there has been the increase on abandoned infants and traveling costs. Furthermore, Gia Lam Village Committee has approved to give Nam Ban Church 5.000m2 for dead infants’ place with the purpose of building the Nam Ban Infant Cemetery. All the legal documents are ready, but in short of funds for building a fence and leveling the land and building a basic part of the cemetery. It hasn’t been calculated how much money is for the whole construction, but at least 100 million dongs is urgently needed for starting the construction. Therefore, in the spirit of Charity, UOC MO XANH volunteers call for your charity hearts (especially those who have been living in Nam Ban) giving hands for this noble act. The donation program starts from April 20, 2014 until December 30, 2014.
