Let tonight be spent in looking at the past 4 months which changed so many lives in so many ways. Let tonight be spent in looking at the VCs resignation as a license for us to continue fighting injustice. Us, we students? We have never needed anything more on us other than each other. Take this time, to figure out how you can fight the various people assuming the role of the authority around you. Remember that right now as we are here rejoicing our little victory, there are people around the country, the world who are facing oppression. All that you earn out of putting everything that you have, everything that youre worth in a movement, is the ability to inspire somebody. Right now, there are movements still happening around the city. This isnt the time to rest. This is the time to put Authorities everywhere in a state of unrest. We won the day 1 lakh people walked for us. We won every single moment when students didnt care about any of the festivities and continued to struggle only with hope by their sides. We won the day individuals felt the need to rebel in their bones. Remember Remember, the 17th of September. The Police personnel responsible have still not been punished. The ICC has not been reconstructed. Surveillance continues. A judicial probe has not been conducted yet. Those responsible for 2005 and 2010 roam free. The war is long. But for tonight, just for tonight, may be well afford a little sleep. :) Inquilab Zindabad.
