In fact it is the passport to all Adivasis for the biggest test of their life. It guarantees our rights. It insures our life. If our condition is worse even today, its because we have not tried to know our constitutional rights. Have you ever heard about Tribal sub-plan? It’s a special provision of the Constituion in Article 275-1. Tribal Sub plan is the provision by which the Centre gives funds for the development of the Schedule Areas exclusively. The amount of this fund is being looted & diverted to non development works; such as the establishemnt of “khelgaon” in which Rs700 cr was spent. And this loot is being done since 1974 continuously. It’s the corruption “institutionlised” we are totally unaware of. It is for such “loots” in the name of development, the dikkus are unwilling to give our rights mentioned In PPESA. Do you know how many NGOs are working in JKD: 10314! That means there an NGO for per 825 adivasis. I do not know how many adivasis have changed their life through NGOs but certainly the NGOs have fattened themselves by the amount of Tribal Sub-Plan. The District Autonomous Council (DAC) and the “Gram Sabha” at the lower level under PPESA are to given authority over this amount of Tribal sub-Plan directly. This is the Power of PPESA. For the year 2013-14 TSP has staggering amount of Rs8400 cr. Our population is about 85lakhs. Do you see the point now?. It’s for this the dikkus want to keep the Adivasis engaged in issueless fights of religion etc in the name of Sarna-Christian. So friends, know your rights and take your Power. Don’t fight over Sarna-Christian. We have lost a lot in our fights in the past. We cannot afford to lose more. Unite and stay united. The dikku culture and the adivasi pattern of thinking are incompatible. If you try to meet this, the Adivasis will be devoured by the dikku culture completely at the risk of being traceless in the years to come. The Church Dharamgurus and the Babas cannot be the leaders of Adivasis.
