Let us study the book of Acts. Read: Acts 16:1-end This chapter is very instructive for us as we walk daily to fulfil Gods plan for our lives. Apostle Paul was a man that committed fully to the call of God for his life, he desired to preach to anyone that he comes in contact with --anywhere there is opportunity to preach, he wanted to go but Gods ways are not ours. Even though Pauls desire was right but Gods plan at points in his life was to reach specific people and not just anyone. Holy Spirit prevented him and his co-workers from going to certain places because he had a different assignment for them. This tells us that per time, we must understand what God wants us to do. It is not good, if it is not God. CHALLENGE: 1. What does the passage teach me about the Holy Spirit? 2. In the passage, we also saw how Paul and Silas praised God when they were in trouble. How do you react when you are in similar situations? How should you act? 3.Make time out today to encourage someone going through a difficult time. Do have a great day!
