Let us, the Pharisees and teachers of the Law who are so secure in our empty religious ritual have ears to hear! THIS is the parable of the Good Samaritan. But there is no Samaritan in this video. Because Jesus is the Samaritan in the parable, not us. I pray this did not really happen, but it matters not. The story is true. We live it every day. People, in that parable, we are NOT the Samaritan. In this video, as in that parable, we are the people who walk by. This is our life every day. We stay up all night long for an iPhone 6 when our iPhone 5 works fine. We cant name the neighbors on our block. We think we are Christian because we listen to KLOVE. We are too tired to make it to 11 oclock worship or read our Bible and pray every day to the God who gives us breath and saves us from this. But if we confess our sins, God, who is faithful and just, came to Earth and died in our place. So that these crimes that we commit in our heart every day can be forgiven and we can be freed from our slavery to our worship of self and stuff. All you must do is acknowledge Jesus as your rightful King and Creator. Bow to Him, and give him 100% control of your life. Live your life as a sacrifice of love to others for Him; not out of compulsion, but out of gratefulness and overflowing joy for the free gift of pardon He gives all who would bow before Him and crucify their own rebellious lust for the things of this world.
