Lets FOCUS on what we can do for our students, staff, and our community. We know that there are at least 1/4 of a BILLION dollars, 250 million dollars in needs for infrastructure, safety, repairs, and technology for our district. We have not passed a bond or mill levy since 2005 to invest in the future of our students and invest in the workforce for our community. Other surrounding districts have passed measures: Poudre, St. Vrain, Boulder, etc.... St. Vrain has passed 2 measures in the past 6 years. TSD ZERO in the past 9 years. So what messages are our actions sending to our students, or future companies looking to move their businesses here? If you were in the shoes of the students or staff last week stressing while the internet was down and your college future was at the mercy of scrambling to find another way to send your applications, what would you be thinking? Leaking roofs, obsolete technology, crowded classrooms, and so on... Lets work together to find the solution to keeping TSD great and making TSD even better for our students and community.
