Lets Get Back Together is a testimonial theater piece, based on interviews the team did with over 50 LGBT Singaporeans. I attended their open rehearsal last week, and I was especially moved to hear numerous excerpts on transition and transphobia - typically underrepresented experiences - some of these in Malay and Chinese. I also got to meet the amazing cast after the rehearsal - they kept asking us how they could render our voices more authentically but really, they were terrific.
