Lets Talk I Wanna Be a Judge Election 2014 - Tuesday, November 4th cant get here fast enough - Checking our postal mail this morning: Campaign Mailers all over the place but now in the Garbage! This one, we must talk about. We have in our hand a mailer from Judicial Candidate Sherrie Miday. Miday says Dont Let Pamela Barker Prevent Diversity on the Bench. Midays rant - Vote Against Barker Republican. To be clear, as we understand this as per Judge Capers The job of the Judge is to interpret the Law. A judicial candidate must be/should be/shall be/supposed to be Experienced, Qualified and Impartial - marked by justice, and honesty! Notice to Miday - Judicial Candidates should not be running around town seeking endorsements from lawmakers who are the law breakers. More so, a judge should run on their qualifications and experience. The Heck with a party line. The last time we checked and have seen - Judges dont do much for the community. The Judge should stay on the bench, interpret the law, research legal precedents, and operate in complete and total fairness. Side bar; they should stop wasting tax payers hard earned MONEY. Miday should STOP talking about party and endorsements and talk about her qualifications. This would be a refreshing road to travel.
