Lets assume that a new Doc Savage movie got greenlighted, and further assume that fan input was asked for which novel to film? What would your choice be? For me, as good as it is, Id stay away from Man of Bronze and Land of Terror. There are far too many origin story movies out there right now, and lots of dinosaurs, too. I think Id lean toward Death in Silver, one of the best New York City stories. Its got mystery, its got mood, its got action. It lacks Pat Savage, but I think they could plug her into the story. It also lacks all five of the Five, but that might be a good thing, too -- gives the newbies fewer names to remember, gives Doc more on-screen time. Thoughts?
