Lets be honest ~ this is nothing more than a veiled threat against the President, because when she promises to defend herself against the government, shes not implying a willingness to provoke a standoff between her and hundreds of Federal agents, or the National Guard. Shes issuing empty rhetoric as red meat to her fringe supporters. Unfortunately, this is exactly the type of approval and encouragement those on the fringe wait to hear ~ anti-government hyperbole that reinforces their sense of disenfranchisement, and their desire to correct that issue through 2nd Amendment remedies. If it was considered wrong for private citizens like the Dixie Chicks and Michael Moore to simply question President Bushs policies in public, then fanning the flames of insurrection should be considered high treason, and she should be held responsible for anyone who takes action based on her words.
