Lets do some maths. Of the 492 National Comfab delegates, each an every delegate is expected to cart away with nothing less than 12 Million Naira for the period of 90 days (3 months to be precise) as honorarium. If you break 12 Million in three months, it means each delegate will be paid 4 Million Naira every month. (Hmmmm I just remembered N18,000 is the minimum wage for public servants). On splitting 4 Million in a month, each an every week a delegate is given 1 Million Naira. And from what we heard the conference is slated from Monday to Thursdays and time is 10:am to 6:00pm. And with all this huge amount, some of the delegates are still clamouring for more stipend for their aides. Can you see how selfish we are in this country. The poor masses are still leaving their lives below one dollar a day. What an irony.
