So far 1,129 fatalities in 2014) Syrian Civil War (started in 2011. Cumulative fatalities, 250,000+. So far 28,680 fatalities in 2014) Islamic Insurgency Into Nigeria (started 1999. Cumulative fatalities, approx 22,000. So far 5,000+ fatalities in 2014) War in Afghanistan (started in 1978. Cumulative fatalities, 2,000,000+. So far in 2014 5,000+) Mexican Drug War (started in 2006. Cumulative fatalities, 150,000. So far in 2014, about 1,400.) Israeli/Palestinian Conflict (started 1942. Cumulative fatalities 22,000+. So far in 2014...about 1,500. ) Can I take a moment and point out that in 72 years...the Israeli/Palestinian Conflict has not have anywhere NEAR the amount of fatalities that several others have had in MUCH SHORTER periods of time...and the current numbers for 2014 are well...unimpressive in comparison to the others. So why is it that this 72 year old piss off is such news...when we hear so little about the others. Lets just really get real on this... (Comments about Obama will be deleted.)
