Lets get some plans rolling for a mountain adventure December 20-21! Brooke & Erin--i know we talked about planning Baker soon...I did some more research into Baker and Im going to hold off on hitting up that bad boy until late winter/early spring when it has sufficient snow coverage. The crevasses on this peak are pretty beastly. I know two different teams of extremely advanced climbers that were a part of my mountaineering club that went up it recently and fell into crevasses....z-pulley action was required to get them out. And as much fun as it is to intentionally play in crevasses and set up z-pulleys....not something that I would want our rope team to happen upon with the glaciers and ice coverage so shaky this time of year. Table it for early 2015? And throw in a girls trip up Rainier as well?
