Lets get something done to help these people. A huge irrigation pump cant be that expensive and the government has 100s of them in surplus. We need to speak to our members of congress, our Senators and our Representatives and get these people a new irrigation pump. I personally believe, if enough of us call our Senators and our Representatives and tell them you want these Navajo people to get a new irrigation pump and you want it installed today, I believe we can get the Senators and Representatives to get something done today. Remember, the people in Washington in the Senate and the House of Representatives work for us, so tell them what you want done. Dont back down with a bunch of their double talk telling you they cant get it done. Tell them that you didnt call to have a debate on the issue, you called to tell them what they need to do today and if they cant get it done, then we will find someone to replace them, its just business, and in business when you have employees who are incompetent for effective conduct or action, then they have to be replaced. A short telephone call to your Senators and Representatives can get them to put pressure on the powers to be to get this done today. People will be starving if they cant get their crops grown. This is an emergency and FEMA has irrigation pumps as well, something can be done today, theres no reason for this to drag on any longer. Lets do this together, lets make it happen today.
