Lets go back in time to 2011. This was the start of the adventure for me (Id done my first trip to Gulmarg in 2008), but this was the first trip to see if we wanted to make a go of it. Well, this was in mid-January and definitely low tide conditions in Gulmarg. We came very close to not going at all, Im glad we did go as it was another awesome trip. You definitely couldnt go crazy, we skied lines more slowly and shorter turns were definitely more the norm. This was a really good day as we woke up and there was a fresh 15cms of really light powder that we werent expecting. There was hardly anyone else around so we got plenty of quick, quality laps in. Fun times!
