Lets have a round of applause for our medical staff this week: not only is it Nurses Week, but they donated 41 units of blood yesterday during our Red Cross Blood Drive! The goal was 26 units...even the Red Cross was impressed! This donated blood saves lives in our community, regardless of the healthcare institution a patient is being treated at. What better way to show they go the extra mile? :)
