Lets have a serious conversation about the police presence in our community. At zombie prom, the police were asked by students, why are you here? The response: This is my property. Does this not raise alarm!? There are many people who remember how UMM was in the 80s; though the drinking age was lower, the police didnt have the presence they have now. Legal and societal injustices executed by any form of a coercive force (be it Cosa Nostra, the Crip, or Police) are nothing new to the world, and we would be naive to pretend that they cant happen in rural Minnesota.
