Lets help Lisa who is trying to do the right thing for this kitten and took him to the vet and paid for initial consultation and medication. She found a 4 month old kitten who got under her fence line. Our dog found him and injured one of the kittens vertebrae. I have taken him to the Vet and he was kept in the hospital for a few days. Hes been released with medications. She writes: He is not using his back legs, but does have pain sense in them. He has no pain sense in his tail. The hospital said he is able to express his bowels and urinate on his own, but he needs some help cleaning up.He is able to pull himself a long on his front paws and even sit up. The vet is not sure if he will regain any function in his back legs, but feels kennel rest may help improve his chances. I have paid for his hospital stay and his medicines. Hes ready to go home from the hospital, but I can not take him in. I have two cats who are extremely aggressive toward other cats/kittens. I could really use an angel if you happen to know of someone or somewhere that would take him and help him by giving him the medicines the vet has prescribed and a chance to get stronger and have kennel rest.
