Lets not get too carried away; because we share black skin (if not always the same facial features or hair texture) & a common inferior status wherever we live, doesnt mean black-skinned Arabs & Indians also see us as the same or even as equal. Black Arabs & Black Indians may not make common cause with each other, ie even if they ARE aware of each other. Like Black Brazilians or Black Americans ,our people, necessarily of inferior social status wherever they are found out of Africa, always try that bit harder to integrate by emphasizing their cultural & linguistic loyalty, as if that would be a counterweight to the things they simply cannot change, which mark them out for derision: their distinct skin colour, hair texture & physical features. It leads us to an assumption that wherever we meet black people in the Diaspora they would automatically identify with us, itself based on an assumption that the historical experience leading up to their debasement was the same as ours & hence their reaction ought to be the same as ours.
