Lets play on a level playing field. I say only sports that are played by more than 50% of the provinces should be allowed into the PNG Games. Others such as swimming should be banned from PNG Games because only POM and LAE cities are equipped for these sports. PNG Games are supposed to be a Grassroots Game not one for cities whom the government is pumping millions of kina into in terms of sporting facilities. How can provinces compete fairly when Lae and NCD already have the cards stacked in their favour before the game even begins. Twenty to forty medals already shared between these two cities without provinces having a hells chance of looking in. I say let Pom and Lae hold their own sport competitions with swimming, golf, bowling and lawn tennis and leave PNG Games to truly grassroots sports.
