Lets pray for our nation. While watching the news, reading post about the current events (as it relates to the police) is a good way to stay informed, let us not allow it to overwhelm us and consume us with rage and anger. It doesn’t mean excusing a wrong or denying that it ever happened. It means we don’t allow ourselves to be consumed with anger towards the one who has done something to us. Instead of cursing the people who has wrong us, we should come together and pray for them. Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Lets try to stay positive and proactive; because anger stirs up hatred and simply leaves us feeling like were carrying a heavy load. Finally, Romans 12:19 says: “Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord. Lets bring our pain, hurt, anger and fears to the Lord and allow Him to guide our thoughts and actions.
