Lets pray for this our beloved country and stop complaining...like the Israeleites, let us follow he "cloud" as God leads but we can only know of His will if we seek Him through prayer and His word.It does not abdicate us from our duties but we will act according to His will and not what our small human wisdom tells. Even when Irael would be promised of victory over their enemies, they still had to go to war..all this was for |God to be glorified...not the Israelites. The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against his Anointed, saying, “Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.” He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. Job 12:23-25 ESV He makes nations great, and he destroys them; he enlarges nations, and leads them away. He takes away understanding from the chiefs of the people of the earth and makes them wander in a pathless waste. They grope in the dark without light, and he makes them stagger like a drunken man. 1 Peter 2:9 ESV But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 2 Corinthians 4:4 ESV In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
