Lets read! On Saturday, CBC is hosting a great family event this Saturday called One Book, One Child. Were celebrating the love of reading, and will be at the Avalon Mall in St. Johns from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Many of our personalities will be on hand to read to the kids. Among those attending: Anthony Germain and Cecil Haire of the St. Johns Morning Show, Ramona Dearing of Radio Noon, and Jonathan Crowe and Debbie Cooper of Here & Now. Look for a great craftivity zone, as well as some CBC characters that kids love: Buckaboo, Huckle Cat and Bo on The Go! Its all free, but please bring or a new or gently used childrens book to donate to Literacy NL and the Community Food Sharing Association.
