Lets say a single state wants to non-violently secede from the US and form a separate society. They are ok with the end of all federal funding coming into the state and no protection from the US federal armed forces. They also plan to continue holding human rights in the highest regard so we wont worry about legalized slavery or child marriages or genocide or anything of the like. If you are the president of the US, do you let that state go, or do you force them (through military actions, sanctions, etc) to stay under the dominion of the US federal government? Does it affect the decision if they are forming a communist society? A libertarian society? Give us your thoughts. -Jordan
