Lets say everybody buys samsungs or apple or the best brand and all follow, this company will soon become the sole service provider for an important thing we have in this world (call it telepresence and virtual existence), that company will become like a country, a government, manipulation will rule it to maintain its status and control over people. This already happened centuries ago when certain people actually dominated a certain level of service and kept growing till countries became what they are today. In brief countries are merely a self-preserving dominating form of maintaining their people under control to benefit the regime for its sole existence and the true shareholders or biggest benefiters from it. The future still holds different new forms of less geographic countrymanship, and new forms of alliances. Funnily, as the layers of new country-like structures start appearing in this world, the lesser dominance the older concept of country will influence you. After all, no one really gets nailed down for not being loyal to whichever tribe they used to belong to in the 4th century as a new concept of country started evolving. To me that should assert us all that by logic the world will literally move towards a clear cut two countries and will end as one. And if the whole world becomes one country, that would mean that there is actually no country, ie that is the day when 1=0, and all crap mathematicians can go to hell :)))
