Lets say that we come up with the Affordable Car Act. In this act everybody will need to buy a car. This will help people who do not have transportation. So we will have 3 levels of car. Bronze, Silver, and Gold. The Cars will all have to get the exact same MPG. The Silver car can have GPS, Radio, any other option, and the Gold can ahve leather seats. For the po folk the government will subsidize the car, so everybody gets a FREE CAR, so you will have transportation.... since cars need to be cared for the government demands that you pay for oil changes, new tires, gas, insurance, and regular maintenance; this will cost you $400 per month, after you pay the first $5000 the government will pay for $240 per month of your transportation costs and you will only have to pay $160 per month! Do you think that if you could not afford the cab ride once a week you will be able to drive the new car the government provided for you... this is what we have in Ocare... YES, YES, YES the government will help you pay for your INSURANCE, but you still pay for the first $5,000 of your healthcare, yes the same healthcare you could NOT AFFORD before you had insurance.... It is NOT the affordable health CARE bill.. it is the affordable INSURANCE bill and FREE insurance is not worth very much!! SO Keep on bashing those who are trying to stop this mess,... you will find you have $75 less a month and still be unable to afford to see your MD.. you might find that the $75 a month INSURANCE is keeping you from seeing the MD once a year!!!
