Lets see......Country ...plus Rap......equals......CRAP? Ive tried all my life to be ear (and mind) open to all types of music. I regularly listen to Sam Cooke, Hank Williams, Jimi Hendrix, Audra Mc Donald, CSNY, Loretta Lynn, Otis Redding, Tom Jones, Rolling Stones, Sinatra, Laura Nyro, etc on a near daily basis. Ive even defended Eminem, Billy Ray Cyrus, and others at times. But like many other things in this era of American Dumbing Down this is even too ridiculous for me to defend. And although Blake Shelton may brag that he knows what money sounds like, he should spend it gladly. Because he, like all the other C- stars in an era of non-originals, will never be important, or remembered.
