Lets set the stage here. Justin was told by a medical professional that the likelihood of him ever being able to father a child was slim to none. And odds went down as he got older. I was a single mom of 6 with another blessing on the way. We both had basically resigned our life to what it handed us. Him, maybe being able to adopt a child someday if the stars all aligned. Maybe. Me, just living alone, raising my children without a father figure because I had had more than enough of game players. Then the stars aligned and crashed and burst open doors of potential neither of us expected. My children are just as much his children now. By the amount of LOVE he pours into them daily you would never be able to tell about the technicality of genetics. Today I watched this man I love with every fiber of my being wrap our daughter in the Mei Tai carrier and go walking down the road to the corner store to buy me soda. My heart overflowed with gratitude to the universe for how it allowed dreams to come true that we never even dared to truly fully dream in our deepest hearts. I am so beyond blessed. And so grateful to be able to bless this man.
