Lets share it again so people dont get the story twisted. As Im speaking with the officer a man in civilian cloths (shorts and a teeshirt) sneaks up beside me. No badge nothing... yes it startled me due to the fact that the officer in question arrested the man driving a month ago. If you will read your state law like all law officers should do. Yes you may ask for ID. NO I DO NOT HAVE TO GIVE IT TO YOU. I WAS NOT DRIVING MY SEAT BELT WAS ON AND AT NO POINT WAS I TOLD I WAS SUSPECTED OF A CRIME! IT TAKES 3.5 MINUTES TO FIND OUT WHY WE ARE PULLED OVER. BEING THREATENED TO BE TAKEN TO JAIL UNDER THE NAME JOHN DOE FOR NO REASON IS NOT THE ACTIONS OF A RESPONSIBLE OFFICER. yes I was irate! So it takes 6 cops to identify someone who wants to protect their privacy... I dont think so
