Lets start changing this country by booting out the Con-Dems and getting houses built! I couldn’t care who wins the election (after being a lib dem supporter since 18) just as long as I can find somewhere decent to live and could live there long term! The Mayor of London has a house building under spend that is worth hundreds of millions of pounds and seems determined to pursue international money for property as investments (did anyone mention a housing bubble??) and is selling out when it comes to social housing which London (and Londoners!) are crying out for! After the Second World War my great grandfather (A Master Carpenter) could build a prefab in 2 weeks.... surely 70 years later we can do better and get people into decent homes! Also if we are talking about price caps on energy lets have rent control in London set by Local government on private rentals! And actually while im having a rant let’s get rid of the National Minimum Wage and replace it with a Living Wage so people can live and have some money at the end of the month to put back into the local economy!
