Lets suppose you liked an image by a certain photographer but the print prices were just not in your budget. Every photographer has prints that are good but not great so they dont sell them. At this point in my career I only print to sell. When I have prints made I often get multiple variations. I might personally prefer the slightly more contrasty print or possibly the slightly darker print. When I sell prints I always sell the one I think is the best. Then I end up with perfectly good prints and I usually destroy them. So a friend was over and saw ripped up prints on my desk and said I would have taken one why do you throw them away? Hmmmmmm... Should I just sell them at a very discounted price? What do you think? Thank you
