Lets take a trip down 22 memory lane. I bought four of these Federal 550 round boxes of 22 from a man in Sparta a few months ago. He said that he purchased several about twenty years ago and had them in storage. You can see the date of 1994 on the back of the box. The Wal-Mart sticker is still on the top. They were $9.86. I was hesitant to buy the ammo at first because it was so old. And, honestly, I did not know if they had been stored properly or not. To my pleasant surprise, I have gone through two full boxes now and did not have one misfire ! Well, this is how I wound down my Veterans Day. I knocked over a bunch of plates at the Viola Range. The last picture is an example of what I like to call Post Ammo Depression. Happy Veterans Day, everyone !
