Lets take this as a Test or Exercise for mind.. I think the single most important question that flows out of this discussion is: If our politicians can adopt any position, any commitment any time to suit their interests and can betray their commitments (despite repeated emphasis) the moment their interests demand so then what kind of over-sight or hold we as public have upon them? By now we should be mature enough to know that any one who holds power in Pakistan can and will influence elections to get favorable results; that means they can perpetuate themselves and their families hold upon our lives; So how our democratic system will progress to deliver public welfare? Keep the example of the re-election of Zardari & PPP in Sindh in mind; without doing any thing whatsoever for the people of Sindh they manage to win elections; so what needs to be done to make progress? Just keep on holding elections or something else? [Military intervention is ruled out in this mental exercise/test]
