Lets talk Deep conditioning. Deep conditioning is a very essential part of taking care of how hair. I shampoo and deep condition only when my hair is dirty, which is on a month to a month and a half interval. On a daily, I just Moisturize with water/olive/Amla. So typically when I bring out my braids, I deep condition. I believe this is something you should do over the weekend or when you are free. These are the products I use in deep conditioning my hair on a monthly basis after I shampoo; 1. Toni and Guy deep conditioner for damaged hair. Sold at dm, or Tesco Extra. 2. Pink oil (I havent figured out where to get this in Deb yet, if you know please write below). 3. Water and Amla Mixture. 4. Coconut moisture infusing shampoo, sold at dm. 5. Combssssss. Steps. 1. Wash your hair with the coconut moisture infusing shampoo. But if you have been carrying your hair for a while and you know there is product build up use a cleansing shampoo like heads and shoulders. 2. Wrap your hair with a clean cotton cloth to get rid of the excess moisture. 3. Partition your hair into small sections. 4. Moisturize your hair first with the water and olive/Amla technique/mixture. 5. Apply the pink oil after moisturizing each and every section. 6. Lastly apply the Toni and guy deep conditioner for damaged hair, and comb through. Quick tip; Before I comb my hair, I use my fingers to finger detangle, then I use a wide toothed comb after, this is to reduce the incidence of knots and the amount of hair that I have to shed, or break. I am very careful with this process, and I do it when I have time. I dont just go all in with a comb and start combing out my scalp. So if you dont enough time, leave it till when you do, dont rush it. 7. When you are going to sleep, sleep with a plastic bag, or if you dont have, improvise with a clean plastic bag. Keep the bag on for about 2hours minimum or overnight. 8. Comb and style as desired when its gotten dry. Dont wash out. Another quick tip; use a little of everything except the conditioner itself. Effect of this regimen; Soft, smooth, moIsturized, conditioned hair. When do I see results; Immediately after you finish regimen, thats after the plastic bag stage. Tip 3: From time to time in between the interval before you the above process, you may feel the need to condition your hair. You can use a light weight spray conditioner for this. Its easy and effective. I use Aussie moisture miracle recharge conditioner if I need to and I buy mine at dm. This is not a daily thing, just if u need to, and you dont want to go through the steps above. It doesnt work as well as the above method also. As written on the bottle, an emergency spritz of conditioning salvation for hair in need of nourishment.
